i was in the store with the percussion section and they were assigning scores.
and when i was assigned to play timp for olympica i was like WTF!
WTF WTF WTF!
its damn freaking difficult that i didn't even want to continue looking after the first page.
so i pretended to look at the 2nd and 3rd page.
and i flipped here and there.

and the conclusion is = i catch no ball.

i can't possibly sight-read this! omg!
so i told conrad, whom i found looks very much a decent person,
can i not play this? cause its so difficult!
and he said can, unless i want to play his parts.
he showed me his score, and i was like WTF! another killer! OMG!
that mallets look equally difficult and there were weird signs here and there.
OMG.
i'm gonna rot and die here and not make it back home.
anyway the percussionists were friendly.

full band was gonna start.
so we proceeded to the band room.
mr tan introduced me.
then all of a sudden i heard thunderous laughter coming from two guys sitting at the back row.
i realised then, that they had stumbled upon realisation that i was the stupid and blur drummer who dropped her sticks during the performance at esplanade yesterday.
then some people started laughing too.
and no, i wasn't basking in the attention i was receiving, at all.
BAD DAY, so you had a bad day, i was thinking.
i felt my face turn crimson red and i didn't dare to look up.
i felt so embarrassed i wished i was home and didn't turn up for this practice.
i had to pass the idiotic guys to get to the timpani.
there at the timpani i was isolated from the rest of the members.
i really wanted to dive down deep into a hole, any!!!!
and i was gonna cryyyyy!!! but gratefully i didn't.
i sent someone a message, hoping for a word of comfort but i was totally disappointed at his reply.

horrible playing, i played olympica horribly.
i went to the store after that.
i placed my score on the congas and i stared at it, trying very very hard to decipher it.
then this guy came up to me and he asked if i was okay.
i smiled and said ya, trying hard to make it seem genuine.
but i thought he was really nice to have asked me, unlike those two idiotics.
so this guy left a very deep and very positive impression in me.
he is KEITH.

i left early for home and to figure out my parts.
i had so many parts i was both excited and stressed!

they were having camp since 17th. and 18th was the nightwalk!
i came down the next day for sectionals followed by full band. (i can't really remember)
i was gonna forgo dinner and get this stupid timpani part right when this guy called ANDREW told me to come out and join them(year3s + 2s).
so i went out and all of them were sitting in a circle, around twenty of them.
and andrew told me to sit in the middle of the circle!!!
i was like what!?!?
i don't know why but i was so stupid and gullible to have listened to him cause i thought they were playing a game or something.
i sat down in the middle and people started laughing, then i realised i'd been fooled.
but that wasn't as bad as yesterday i thought.
i squeezed into the circle and listened to their discussion about the nightwalk.
but i couldn't really understand what they were saying,
their jokes i couldn't catch plus some of the dialect plus i didn't know what to do.
this guy whom i was sitting beside(i think) asked if i was clueless about what they're talking and what i was gonna do.
and i nodded agreeably. YES that was what i was thinking!

shutter, i think.
the movie was already pretty scary and this idiot guy called LAWFATT had to suddenly grab my leg in the midst of the show which made me scream like anything!
