niannian was not bad! :)
$37.20 for 2.5 hours!
and i thought i'd take till 4pm!
ended at 1.30pm instead cause there were so many blocks with no lifts!
easyeasy blocks, poor sissie doing 5xx series!
surprisingly there were no meowmeows today!
or maybe i didn't keep a lookout for them!
was listening to laputa's soundtracks and some jap tracks throughout work which makes work much more pleasing:)

711-ing was pretty much enjoyable! :D
i realised that i like counting service items and recording them neatly, arranging notes head to tails neatly, bundling up notes so that it's easier to count during closing, wiping counter tops near the drink dispenser, sweeping and mopping the floor!!
gives me a sense of satisfaction!
bill-paying's also very fun!
but today there was something wrong with the thingi so it was abit the ma fan.
have to clearclearclear then reprint!
left at ten thirty plus today again, couldn't stand the sight of litter outside store!

anyway, a serious blunder i made today.
this teen asked for six 30K maple acash. so i keyed in 6 x *scan*.
then i accidentally pressed 'PLU'.!!!!!!
so total was: $382+ !!!
i didn't check if i did key in wrongly or what, and i told him his money wasn't enough.
he only had $200! cause the actual amount was half of that!
of course, i apologized profusely after that.
"sorry sorry, really very sorry..."
anyway, he laughed it off so it was a relief!!


i saw the grossest thing i've ever seen. after work.
it was a carton of 1.5 litre white chrysanthemum tea outside store.
and there were not hundreds, but thousands of eeeeky yuccky little ant-like things crawling all over the carton!
omg imagine that!
yuck yuck yuck.
how did ah fan manage to get that carton out!
i really pei fu her man!
yucks soooooooo disgusting!
then heroine susie came along!
she got it all done within ten minutes; taking out the bottles and flinging the carton into the grass patch, sweeping away the remnants of the disaster caused by the invasion of the unknown species, and wiping away the squashed up bodies on the caps of the bottles.
the content of the bottles weren't affected in the least bit, it was some sweet stuff that the carton got into contact with, that was why the alien species was crawling all over it.

i'm still pretty much a greenhorn, and there's several things i still have to take note of.

1. customer intimacy!
it's like, i only practiced the 'hi, welcome to 711!' and 'thank you for shopping at 711!' for the first week or so? then i got tired of repeating it cause it's too long winded and some customers zao before i complete my sentence.

2. dodo-ishness!
i'm so blurrrr that sometimes i forget to return $ to the customer and i wonder, 'why is the customer still standing there?'

3. paperwork!
gotta speed up on that!
yani can doublecheck the sunrise paperwork standing, while i have to sit down, slowly presspress calculator and check!!!!

4. closing!
arghhh. closing just sucks the fun out of my job! i hate the disappointment when there's short!!! extra isn't that bad, but it isn't good either! how i wish that it'll always be xxx cash: 0.00 on the x reading sheet!!!


sometimes laziness just gets the better of me.
i must improve on customer intimacy!
